Starting September 6th, 2009, Equination will be introducing a new fee schedule for the Weekly Day Rate that each stable is charged every Sunday. This was primarily introduced to help control the inflation of the economy in the game. Currently, only Main Stable horses are subject to a weekly fee, which currently stands at $210 per horse. Now that some time has passed since the introduction of this feature, we have decided some changes and additions are necessary if we want to see any sort of effect on the economy.
As of the 6th, the new fees will be as follows. Breeding stable horses will now be subject to weekly day rates for their upkeep, as well.
Main Stable Horses: $350/week each ($50/day)
Breeding Stable Yearlings: $175/week each ($25/day)
Breeding Stable Older Horses: $245/weel ($35/day)
Even with a completely full main stable and breeding stable, these weekly fees can be covered by winning one and a half Allowance races a week, which most stables can do with that many horses.
A detailed invoice will be sent to every stable on Sunday morning. This will detail their total horses in each stable, show which each stable grouping costs and then the overall total. Stables with less than $50,000 or that have been inactive for four weeks or longer will not be subject to these fees, which is how the system currently works.
